Which trading platform do you use?

We use the MT5 platform from MetaQuotes. MT5 offers many more advantages over MT4 and is much more beneficial for your trading results. You have multiple ways of downloading MT5 to your computer. Once you have registered for an evaluation you will be prompted to download it from your HUB, we will also send you an email with your login details along with links to download MT5

For mobile users, the MetaTrader 5 app is free and can be downloaded on the Google Play and Apple stores. Versions are available for HD apps on tablets.

Which broker do we trade with ?

VFT trades directly through commercial liquidity providers. We do not trade with common retail broker brands. We operate differently and our trading conditions have different requirements. Confidentiality is very important to us and we take as many precautions as possible to keep our supplier’s identity confidential. Funded traders' accounts are connected to our pool accounts. The pool accounts are connected to our LPs and managed by the risk department.

Users can pay with fiat currencies through visa, mastercard, and credit cards in general, and crypto currencies such as USDT on the TRC20 network.

Can I use multiple IP addresses for the same account?

No, VFT has no ip rules, however, if our team suspects account sharing, group trading and copy trading, your challenge phase will be manually revised by our team.

What is drawdown and how is it calculated?

The equity stop-out level (aka drawdown) is the lowest value of the account allowed. Once the account equity value is below this level, the fund will close all running trades, and disable trading and access.
No matter how much the trader profits in the account, the maximum loss (drawdown) allowance increases. The trader can always choose to keep profits in the account in order to increase the maximum drawdown amount.
Any payouts requested will reduce the account balance, hence reducing the maximum drawdown. Example for Hyper-Growth: If the initial balance is $10,000 and the maximum drawdown of 6% is $600 then the account will be closed below the equity level of $9,400, Let’s say your account goes up to $10,300, the maximum drawdown is now $900. Example for High Stakes: If the initial balance is $5,000 and the maximum drawdown of 10% is $500 then the account will be closed below the equity level of $4,500.
Let’s say your account goes up to $5,300, the maximum drawdown is now $800. Example for Bootcamp: If the initial balance is $10,000 and the maximum drawdown 5% is $500, the account will be closed below the equity level of $9,500.

How fast will I receive my VFT MT5 challenge Account after I sign up?

How long does it take to receive the account after the payment is made? As soon as we receive all the information required at sign up, a team member will email you your account credentials as soon as your payment is verified. After that, your VFT dashboard will have login credentials available.

What instruments are allowed to be traded ?

Users can trade Forex, Energies, Commodities, Indexes, and Cryptocurrencies through our third-party partners and their trading platforms.

Currently, users have access to accounts with raw spreads + commissions. In addition, for an extra fee. This can be modified during account setup when you are creating your order.

Can I use a signal service and trade with VFT?

No, signal services are not permitted. We are looking for skilled traders to trade our accounts.
Copying someone’s signals on your own account will be a violation of our evaluation process.

How do I know if I have violated the rules?

VFT’S response does not answer the question of how to track rules and objectives as opposed to performance. Users can review the User Rules and Objections through their VFT dashboard. This will allow users to review Rules and Objectives from the same place as their trading history.
If by any chance you fail a challenge, you will receive an email stating exactly which rule you have violated.

What are the contract sizes?

Contract size, indicating the number of units bought or sold in a single nominal lot, varies by instrument type (e.g., Forex: 100,000 units; indices: 5-500 units) and is crucial for calculating risk management and expectancy; refer to our trading instrument list to accurately set take-profits and stop-losses.
XAUUSD contract size - 100 - you will lose or make 100 dollars per 1 dollar movement (1 lot)
US30 / NAS100 contract size - 5 - you will lose or make 5 dollars per 1 dollar movement (1 lot)
Sp500 contract size - 20 - you will lose or make 20 dollars per 1 dollar movement (1 lot)

Example: There is an order of 5 lots on XAUUSD where the open price is 2324.00 and the close price is 2326.40, the total profit is 1200 USD.
Calculation: The total movement: 2.4 USD
Contract size:100
Number of lots: 5
2.4 (Movement in USD) * 100 (Contract size) * 5 (Number of lots)= 1200 USD

How many accounts can I apply for at once?

VFT allows 1M$ per account on accumulated balance.
meaning traders are allowed to have as many active funded accounts, up to 1M$ total capital.

Does VFT allow weekend trading on crypto?

Valor Funded Trader's liquidity provider pauses trading on the weekends, so no, traders are not able to trade any crypto currencies on the weekend, however, during the week they can trade them during the whole day.
